full charge, thats weird

i just changed my p800 fully, turned it on and now after about a second its down once notch. Turned it off and pluged in the charger, it went for about a min and then said fully charged. So i put it back on and same problem, is that normal?

when you charge your phone, and it says 100%, it's not really always at 100 percent, that's why when you first get it, are told to charge it for so long, i read this somewhere but can't remember

same thing happened to me today. i fully charged my battery this morning. at around 6:00am it was still 100% it is 2:30pm right now and it is down to 5% 😮

it is really weird. i was not expecting that this will happen because i make sure that i condition my battery at least once a week. i will be having a meeting later this afternoon and i guess i will leave my phone here. it has no use today!!

by the way, i forgot my charger and there's no other way for me to borrow because i am the only one here in the office who is using p800.

12 quid if your quick 😉

My peice of s**t brick has started doing this also, if I change fully at say 9am, it will be fine until early afternoon say around 2-3pm (80-90% Charge) then it will deteriorate rapidly, so when I go to get my phone at say 6-7pm it will be turned off...when I turn it on, LOW POWER warning (1-5% Charge!)

I'd send it back for a replacement but it's not worth the aggro

the battery has warranty right? i am planning to go to SE to have this checked. it's not worth it if it's going to happen like this in just a short period of time.

I just accept the faults my P800 has now, I really can't be bothered to get them fixed.

Perhaps when the Samsung arrives then I will get them sorted before I sell it.

I agree with the weird behaviour of the battery.
-Without using my phone i get 2 days of usage.
-When going away and fishing I get about 5 h of usage (using my phone very little, I understan it burns more power when it is far from a antenna).
- When I came back I only get 5hours of usage without hardly using the phone.
- After a few days of limited usage at home I again is back to 2 days of usage.
It must be something is the phone that is triggered to burn power. I just don't know what it is. I have tried just about everything. Finally it goes back to normal burn rate. I just don't know why.

yes sony ericsson warranty covers battery and charger too .. i guess everything that comes in the box .. not sure if ear phones are covered too

I am sure that all of you having this charging problems have the beta of the camcoder installed. Camcoder SIMPLY DRAINS THE BATTERY!!!!
Uninstall it and see for yourselfes! 😉

They are, I got mine replaced, and will replace them again 😃

A battery is normally only covered for 3 months in th UK, after that they put it down to misuse even with no evidence ( :-? ) Leaving any program in the background eats power, i left Gaya on and you could almost see the battery meter go down! That battery on ebay was only 700mah, the p800 one is 1000mah...

Only if you keep the app running in the background! If you close the app when you're done, there is no problem!
