Installer files

I was just wondering if it was safe to delete the installer files of the symbian apps i have installed. I find them using fexplorer but don't want to delete them until i know its safe.

If you are thinking about them those that are located in c:\system\install, then the answer is no. They are used by your phone. (don't have the technical answer though)

If they are located in C:\Nokia\Installs, then yes. They may be deleted, but I am almost certain they get deleted automatically by the phone after an install.

If you are thinking of those in mailbox sent using BT to the phone, then the answer is again yes. If you have installed, you can delete them 😊

Please.. anybody correct me if I am wrong..

I don't know about the ones in the c: directorys etc (still not got my phone sorted out with a file explorer app) but the ones in the inbox are safe to delete - in the same way if you receive a pic/ringtone etc once you've saved it to a folder the original remains in your message inbox until deleted (taking further memory space up) :P
