Does anyone know what is the limit or maximum number of recipients that could be added for one message? 100? 500? 1000?
Thanks.

dont think its possible....... u have to take group messaging service on
the network........ then u could add more than one receipient to single message..........u will be charged separately for additional receipient.....

You can add quite many recipients to an SMS on Series 60 phones. And you can also use groups in the Contacts app for that. If the contact has multiple numbers, you can mark one as the default, so you're spared the prompt for which one to pick, too.
You're sending & being charged for as many messages as you have recipients. And if the message is long, you're charged for all individual parts, too.
Some/many operators also offer group messaging services, where you maintain the groups/lists on the operator's server(s), but in most cases you don't need such a service with a Series 60 phone (the main benefit for using an operator-based service would be if the group can be shared/used by all in the group; only one place where to keep it up to date needed).
Now, I don't know if there's a built-in limit (the largest number of receipients at one go I've sent a message to is to some 30 people).
Why (just curious) do you want to know?
You can also figure it out by adding a couple of thousand "dummy" contacts to your phone and give them all your own phone number. Then send a message to all copies of yourself, and count how many you get. 😉

hehe...

Ok, I;ve tried it.
I changed my number so I sent all of my contacts my new number. It was more than 200.
I created a group contact and added everyone to the group.
It took a long time for the phone app to include each contact number in the To: list. I think around 5 to 10 mins.
Yes, but did you find an upper/maximum limit? 200? 500? 1000? 10000? 15964? something else?
That's what I'm trying. Using it to the maximum limit. 😃
I tried putting 750 dummy numbers in one group and it took 35 minutes just to append all the numbers, haha. Then I pressed delete message.
I think it is depend on your phone memory (ROM) to be able to handle such message (200+). I also doing that since i got my 7650 last year, The trick here is to have a very big space for you phone to create another message for this, every person you added in the message create new message for this. for example you want to send an MMS which is 20kb, you send it to 200+ person, 20kb x 200 person = 4mb, be sure to have this space availble or your phone will hang. in the case of SMS i think its only a byte of 10 to 50 and will accomodate on your phone. so the maximum of person to add is depending on your free phone memory, i dont know if this would apply to 3650 because of the MMC
