If i do a "FORMAT S: /A:4096 /X" on a 128mb duo on my PC via a card reader, will it delete the folder settings on the duo (Audio, Document, Image, Other, Video)? Or are these read only (like system folders)? Is it the same as formatting on a P800 but only difference is it changes the cluster size?

Why don't you just use your phone to format the stick?
These folders need to exist on your duo else you can't store any data! Some times there can be a delay in the folders appearing on the duo stick.. You can hurry them along by running various standard applications of your phone (audio is a good one) which will then ensure the folders are created.
