NICE, the Swedish bank SEB now offers online banking using the p800! I just tried it out myself. I can check my balance, transfer money and more 😊

Not sure why I am writing a post about it, but It's pretty cool and I guess I wanted to tell someone about it... 😮ops:

Yeah, I certainly do have opera. Yes citibank, like most modern banks do offer internet banking, and I use it regularly on my PC. However, I've tried it on my p800, both through gprs and also broadband and nothing past the internet banking link. Try it and you'll see what I mean. Doesn't matter if you don't bank with them, just get to the login in screen and I'll be impressed. http://www.citibank.co.uk but you'll have to tell me how you did it. - cheers

1) Many Internet banks use soft certificates for login security... It seems like opera doesn't support "regular" web certificates. I am not sure about the details though.
2) most web sites have tons of frames, which make regular www pages horrible to look at... the mobile page @ SEB is custom made for P800 😊

I've managed to do this, although the frames are a bit awkward (& resizing the frames sometimes crashes Opera).

the key thing is to have a bookmark for the login screen: the setting I have currently is:

https://cukehb1.cd.citibank.co.uk/HomeBankingSecure/Pers/StartSession.asp?LANG=1&LANGNAME=English_(United_Kingdom)&DEVICEMODE_HTMLGPH&SRCT=10&TS=1049405148437

hope this helps...
