hello...im new to all this so i dont know how to fix my phone.I downloaded a memory monitor for my phone had a look at it and selected close apps next thing i know my phone locked up and wouldnt run any apps. All i could do was call out or recive calls.Ive bought a new memory card and everythings working fine but can any one advise me on how to get my old memory card working,as there is alot of data on it that i would like..thanks in advance....<.:adz:.>please!!!!!!

A similar thing happened to me (not sure whether it's exactly the same or not).
I couldn't access the menu or anything. I could only make calls.
I had to buy a memory card reader, retrieve the data that i needed and then format the card. Then it worked fine.
There's no need to buy a new card.

same thing happened to me when i reformatted using etools. All you have to do is to do a safe boot each time (hold the penicl or abc button each time you turn on the phone?) and everything will be o.k. However after that i don't know what to do cos its really annoying having to do a safe boot each time. I am taking the mmc card back to dixons (third time) to get it reformatted. Its free

same thing happened to me too you dont have to safe boot if you know what r installed on your mmc install them on your phone without the mmc and insert the mmc all works fine then u should format the mmc and *#7370# the phone and .... perfect

I managed to corrupt my MMC card in such way that it wouldn't work after using the *#7370# code...

If this is the case with your MMC, a MMC reader writer is the solution, just format it in a MMC reader / writer and it should work again!

Or easier yet, have a digi cam that uses MMC or SD cards just format it from there. OR better yet: Borrow a digi cam that has MMC or SD support! 😃

saves pounds.. don't ya think the're worth it?! :P

thanx for the advice..i managed to get it working by loading my phone up normally then my phone said system error because my memory card was in..i then brought up my application manager there was nothing on it.normally the blue telephone is there but it was'nt.i then selected the blank box where the blue telephone should of been which reset my phone.i then held down the pencil button as it reset and loaded back up..then everything worked fine even my memory card...!! 😃
