right......with the flip open the backlight works fine but the last couple of days with it closed the backlight doesnt work at all and occasionally when i go the the control panel the light is switched OFF, i can switch it to On and it works fine but that drains the batt fast

Have you got unreal player installed? that causes backlight problems.
yea, so am i gunna have to uninstall it to get rid of the prob? or is there an update
There is another thread on it, i think you just have to put up with it at the mo, dunno if there is an update yet. Use the search to find more
