Thought I have once read a very long time ago somebody complaining that when his phone has no reception, it crashes after a while
Have a similar problem when driving through various tunnels - the phone dies after a while.
I thought after such a long time with those updates this would have been fixed.
Any idea why this still happens?

Phone crashes when no Network available
I've been experiencing this problem for the past 5 months now even after a firmware upgrade. Strangely enough it only happens in certain locations (zip codes). For example, there's a basement that I would visit often where I never get network, but the phone remains on. However, at a city nearby the phone goes dead within 15 minutes if left idle with no network feed. This is not carrier dependent as it happens on 3 accounts that I have with this phone.
For me as well. Being a new owner...I was kinda surprised when there was no signal while shopping and the next thing you know it...i couldnt turn it on...pulled the battery out and in...finally i plugged it in and charged it :x (dont know why i need a charge but i guess it ate up the entire battery while searching for a signal?) Anyways, it came on about a half an hour later with everything...everything lost on the memory...had to do a restore... :x
