[URGENT] Need help with a troublesome guest!!!

I vote we disable guest posting for a while at least....he's realling annoying me too.

For the most part now, unlike when we discussed this before, I think very few guests post very much anymore...granted they sometimes do, but quite often they are just annoying constant warez posts to annoy mods/admin. :-?

BTW: I have banned his IP....it must change everytime he logs on, or he is using some sort of mask, There is no point banning every IP he posts as, he will no doubt return.

I've disabled guest posting for the P800 forum temporairly unitl I can investigate further.

It's getting frustrating having to delete/edit guest posts and be on constant look-out...

I agree that guest posting should be temporarily disabled but it should be enabled as soon as possible,especially in the p800 forum where contributions from guest posters(like spf)do mean a lot.

Maybe a bit off topic,what do you think about X-rated avatars?I have seen a few and IMHO,AAS is a respected site with a respected community and X-Rated avatars are really not appropriate.

Even though i'm against disabling guest posting,right now,i agree with Raven 100%.I think guest posting should be disabled(In the p800 forum) untill we find a better solution then post editing,its really not fun on a 33600 dial up 😊

Hee hee, I said it'd be trouble, but no-one listened. Now I have the last laugh.

I didn't do this, may have been the back up / restore that happened a day or so ago. By the looks of it one of the admins has already turned it back to registered users for posting and replying. I'll check on this tomorrow when I have more time.

Yes, that would be me....sorry for not mentioning it...the guest re-appeared again after guest posting was enabled.
