some word you got there... 😊
Jadeviper's not giving us a whole lot to work with on some of these....it was quite a challenge to use more than one letter of her word AND find a subject link.

This one's even harder so...

garden

Sorry :P It was just an idea based on the other letter games where it seemed a lot of the time there was a connection between the words. We could always change it to just being any number of the end letters?

nettle

No! Don't change it - I didn't mean it that way. I don't think I put it too well - I actually like this game a lot - there is more of a challenge here than with most of the others. Sorry if any offense given.

What I meant was that the particular word you had chosen this time didn't leave much to work with. I was actually quite pleased to come up with iconoclast a bit earlier that used two letters from the end instead of one! It was just that starting with ng and relating it to the subject doesn't appear to be possible.

So.......

leaf

nervous (which although it can apply to alsatians, more reflects my feelings towards the very large spider on my ceiling right now)

Struggling to follow that connnection - I assume you meant uranium
- I don't recognise urenium ?

Anyway....has the spider moved, JV ?

UMIST (commonly used acronym for University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology)
misty (as in uninformative abbreviations :P )
Good one ! Bonus points for using 4 of the letters! That may be the best yet!

sonic (as in the speed his fist moved at)

nice hairdo (as in the hedgehog...)

I'm just back in from the shops and the spider has crossed the room but is still there, scaring me...

bigger than a 50p... about as big as my palm across the middle. Here's a rather out of focus pic (it's near the ceiling and I'm a shortarse)

sexy

If my fiancee's sister saw that she would be two cities away in the time it took to utter one shriek!

I feel sorry for the little one right in the corner that is just about to get eaten!

neat (as in not diluted)

the little one in the corner is actually a hole :P I think people in this house before us had a lot of networking going on in the days before Bluetooth...
