i couldnt find any posts on it
the cost for martin fields products to get delivered is way too much and i ended up getting a brando screen protector from ebay to save the pennies
No one tried this power thingy yet then? maybe the AAS staff should ask for a test one...
that's an excellant idea,

I've been using it for a week.

I believe it blocks heat from the phone to the battery. I think battery performance drops when it gets hot.

Anyway, I haven't noticed a substantial improvement in battery performance (But have not yet tested it "properly"😉.

Logically I would agree, but having been in London for the last 2 weeks; my battery life seems less affected by the heat than I am, and on certain sunny afternoons the phone has spent rather a long time in direct heat.

It does crash more often when hot tho...

But oferlaor please keep us informed if you do measure a change or not in battery life; at last someone is testing it... 😃

Someone at Mobile Burn has done a review on this and it actually works. This is the link for the review, http://www.mobileburn.com/review.jsp?Id=445

I have not done a serious test since I started using it.

However, my overall perception is of a better performance from my phone.

Even under heavy usage, I get almost 2 days use out of my phone without having to recharge or switch to my backup battery.

I can recall that before using it, I got just over 1 day worth of use out of it.

I doubt the performance increase is 30% (probably much less). I also learned a few other tricks to improve battery performance (close unneeded apps, use "GSM only" mode to avoid GPRS attachment battery overhead, etc.). In total, the battery performance is most acceptable now, with my phone. I'm not 100% sure I can attribute it to this material, but it's definitely something to think about.

I bought one from overlayplus.com and to tell you the truth, I am satisfied with the outcome. Read here if you want to know more about the test done and the results.

Got two of these things (one for my P800, one for the Misses' 7650) at the begining of last week. When I first got the P800 I used to get four days useage quite comfortably. Recently, it's been a case of squeezing four days out of it and if I use it more heavily than usual it would fall just short.

So I put the power extender in, charged the phone Wednesday night and four days later there was 27% charge remaining.

Now, I probably didn't use the phone much over the weekend but I would expect the phone to be around 5-10% charged.

So it seems to work!

One work of caution though. You are supposed to stick it to the base of the battery compartment. Which unfortunately means covering the corner of the SIM card making it a nightmare to get the SIM in and out! No such probs with the 7650 though. Seems to have been designd more with that it mind than the P800!

Stick on just a corner of it on your P800. You don't have to stick on the whole piece. Just need it to be facing the battery.

I've just ordered on ... let's hope it works as u said Bassey, or I'll have to ask u pay the cost 😛

have been using it for a while, but didn't notice any difference!
is it supposed to be sticked inside the battery slot, or could it b loose inside? as I didn't peel off it's back, cuz I swap sims regularly, and it will get it hard to do so if sticked. could that be the reason?

anyone got a clue😕

I know for a fact that it works but I also heard that aside from extending the battery life tremendously, it also extends your charging time from a few hours to 12 hours or something.. Have any of you guys exeprienced this?

well, didn't notice that ... but what I've noticed was a real strange act, which it speeds up the Power On process!! I know it's strange and it shouldn't b related, but it actually did, I tested it with and without the Power Extender, and I noticed a faster process without loosing 5-10 seconds waiting to start the phone.

and another strange behaviour was it sometimes works much better than I expected with regular use (the battery goes 12-17% a day) and other times it goes (70-78 a day) I'm sure there should b a program that works as a battery drainer runing , but still didn't know which one!

could it b Tracker?

still testing....

I might need to get one, battry has been terrible recently, it seems to be when i leave it in my jacket at work. There is no signal and it seems to drain all the power very quickly.

You don't even have to peel of the paper and use the sticker to make it work, just place it between the phone and the battery, with the sticky side facing the phone. It works fine and really helps to keep the battery from draining.

that's what I did, and from my experience, I can say that when u insert it as near as possible to the phone's battery connectors (the 3 metal clips) then it'll work like charm, but if u insert it on top of the SIM then u won't get any result!

I tested it yesterday without any working software at all, except the phone's default, and with a regular use 45-60 min talking, playing some games, playing around, taking some photos ... and guess what, till now I have 50% after 48 hours! which mean that I can reach the 4 days barrier easily with less playinga and no camera operations (as we all know how much it drains battery)😉

at the end, I'd say it works... and it works well😊

try using your phone till it drops dead, and then charge it with your phone OFF to 100% (you can do it overnight) u'll notice a big difference in your battery attitude😛
