I have a wavelink bluetooth device which works fine when I use the app that came with it to send/recieve files to my P800.. but not when I try to connect using pcsuite.. I keep getting error 'port already in use'.. I used to have nokia7650 and had no probs connecting with my bluetooth and pc suite for nokia.. any ideas..?? error msg attached.. I have the latest version of pcsuite and the bt drivers.. :cry: :cry: thanx for any help.. BTW Im running Winxp

My bt is also unreliable - I've now given up and use the IR instead 😞
Try to close the Nokia PC Suite before connecting, it might be using the port.

yeh I can get to that screen and have enabled the ports required for Lan and Serial but prob still exists.. I have uninstalled the nokia version of pc suite but still no joy.. any other ideas..??

Mine works sometimes after a reboot but cant find any pattern to it!
guys... its not your bluetooth hardware that has a problem or incompatibilty issues. the headache is cause by the bluetooth software. you can use 3com's bluetooth software.

guys i have the same problem if I enable the port in the 'phone monitor option'. On the contrary, i disable them in 'phone monitor option' but have the port enable ONLY in 'mobile connection link' (the one in task bar) and the problem gone.
I wonder 'phone monitor option' are used by other type of application, e.g. MMS composer. to find the phone.
