i get this message when i go to my Apps. folder "App. closed MidpUi E32USER-CBase 71".
how can i solve this problem? it came about i think right after i installed MyGirls.jar game. I was not even able to play the game because i can't open my Apps folder.
please help! thanks.
Use a file manager (like the one on http://www.gosymbian.com) and delete the files you installed (look for them in C:\system\midp, E:\system\midp).
thanks for the "App. closed MidpUi E32USER-CBase 71" tip. i deleted it from c:\system\Midp but the problem it's still there. actually i deleted the whole Midp sub directory. any other solutions?
its called a reformat. not sure of the code, but when you do it.. make sure you have your memory card out or it will get fried.. just do a search for phone format, or someone can post it if they know it to make it easy. It will reformat the phone the same way you would reformat a harddrive. Set everyting back to factory settings. Thats what i did not to long ago.
I think it's called HARD RESET and this is the code *#7370#. Probelem is, "It is undocumented, not supported by Nokia and should be used at your own risk" according to the information I read.
I don't want to take the risk unless it's a sure fire solution.
Thanks Frenchie746 for the advice though. Any more suggestions?
did you move any games that were installed on the phone to the mmc card. I did that and i got the same message, moved the game back and it was fine.
nope, the game was installed on the phone memory. would you suggest a hard reset?

Hard reset can be achieved using the phone's menu, in "restore phone to factory settings", so I would find it difficult that it is undocumented by nokia. If I had my 3650 and my manual here with me I would check on that.
Just a small note on MyGirls: It's not a game, but an app. And it works fine on my cell phone and is actually more often used by me than the rest of the apps/games.

Yes, "restore phone to factory settings" can be found on 3650 but, it only resets to original factory settings.
Information obtained by a friend via Italian Nokia newsgroup says that
the reset code *#7370#, if used, will erase all data of your phone. Including contacts and calendar entry...everything.
