Is there a way to BROWSE the internet or other such IP type stuff using IR ...

i think u can but i dont see the point .. i do it over bluetooth .. search the forum, been discussed many many MANY times ..

Yes you definitley can! I use to surf throu IR when i dont have any money left on my phone...
I use to connect the phone and computer via IR before cause I didn't get the cradle to work... 8)

But whats the point of doing it with IR if you're right in front of the PC ? With bluetooth you can do it from about 10 meters away

yeah, you made your point it's pointless :roll: , i have an extension usb cable which it was only last week i put the infra red hub on my bed pillow and i was lying in bed just mucking about on web pages,
