Duos..

Given a choice between not being able to find a 128MB msd and not being able to find a 256MB msd, I'm not sure exactly how much of an improvement that is.

Right now, getting stock into the hands of retailers is more important all round than higher capacities, especially give the P800 can't address anything bigger than 128MB anyway.

Don't really understand, but I think the jist is that you can't find a 128mb Duo, and your pissed off because there isn't a 256mb Duo?

Anyway, look on www.ebay.co.uk for 128mb duos 😉

They seem plentiful on small islands;
try 7DayShop on Guernsey. They have stock, and deliver next day to the UK mainland.

The 15 multi-reader they have is pretty nifty too. 😊

That was supposed to be a reply in another thread and it ended up in a thread on it's own. The discussion was about what effect Samsung making MSD's might have, and someone said higher capacities was the highest priority. I was just suggesting that higher capacities (which the P800 can't make use of anyway) should be lower priority than getting lost of stocks of MSDs into the shops. It doesn't matter what capacity you can get if you can't buy one. which is the case at least where I am.

Thanks for the link Jules, I'll give them a go. It would still be better if I could walk into the Sony centre near me (or dixons, or..) and buy one. Until you can do that, I'm not sure the format will have a future..
