9210 USB Connection

The device has, for local connectivity, a serial port or infrared. No USB (and hence no need for an USB driver; or at least I can't think of a reason to have one).

I found yesterday a USB serial adapter which works with PC Suite.

It's a Delock product.

If it makes a serial cable connected to it still look like, act like, feel like and taste like a PC serial COM-port so that PC Suite/mRouter can't tell the different between it and the real thing, then it might work.

There is no way to add explicit USB support to PC Suite for the 92xx on your own (i.e., Nokia has to do it & I doubt they will).

my friend just got one of these USB cables... now before i am about to buy 1 myself he told me it sucks.... thers only a little differnce in terms of snyc speed is concerned

i suggest you buy a multicard reader, the data transfer speed is faster...
drawback is you can't back up your comm using PC Suite but then again, there are plenty of ways to back up your phone (contacts and all...) Just use the search function 😉

In no way will the USB be faster than the Serial connection.
You should only buy this convertor/cable if you don't have a serial connection on your pc.

I have tried so many USB to Serial convertersand all failed to work with the PC Suite .. it starts fine and then comes all the error messages in the world. and my Win XP keeps recovering from serious errors (That's what it keeps saying) .. my windows goes bananas and usually it end up restoring my Lap top to it's factory settings.
Any ideas ? .. I really need a USB connection to connect my 9210i to my Lap top
