in the website i read that it supports sd/mmc

is this true?

and second thing: is it possible to download the games?

I don't think it will support SD cards(Maybe i'm wrong).

What do you mean by:The games?Yes you can download games,Java MIDP and Native C++ games(.sis).I don't think you can download games like Tomb Raider,Red Faction and such, they will be available only on MMC cards.

thanx dude :P :P
too bad u cant download games like tmb raider
it would have been cool cause then u could download th games all on 512 mb memory sd

N-Gage has MMC, not SD/MMC.

However, there are 256MB and 512MB MMC cards already out. I have, however, no personal experience with them on any device.

Two MMC manufacturers making 256MB MMC's:

http://www.pdcom.com.tw/html/mmc/features.html

The former also says 512MB MMC's are available for evaluation.

o know they r mmc card try http://www.twinmos.com/flash_p_mmc.htm
the problem is where can u buy them??? :-? :-?

i thought mmc's were the long and thin ones, and the memory sticks were these ones here...

which is what the ngage takes as the official nokia memory stick as shown here below, is the same size and shape

i believe N-gage only supports MMC not SD

RS-MMC cards should work (with the adapter you get with them) on the N-Gage QD.

You won't see any speed-difference (the newer high-speed cards have more connectors on the card to move more bits in parallel, and the device has to support it, too, or they operate in the same way as older cards).
