with Slauncher running? It seems I don't have enough memory to launch roms over 2mb if I have slauncher running, same with Doom.
Is there any way to overcome this, other than uninstalling Slauncher?
Also, I dl'ed the free Skin Editor off of symbianware.com <--- but when I try and add an image to my backround it says not enough memory!!! How do I work around this as well>? Thanks!
Well,the 3650 is short on RAM,no workaround for that.The sLauncher and charger trick might work but that is no good if you are mobile which is what mobiles are for 😃 Maybe system tools from www.psiloc.com?
As for skin editor?Do you have the latest version,are the images resized?Don't try to set high res images as background,best image res for an sLauncher background is 176 x 208.
Why not just turn sLauncher off for the period of time you are playing doom.
goto the menu - press settings - select sLauncher off.
Reboot and play doom, when you have finished, run sLauncher again.
No need to uninstall it at all.
Oh - and the charger trick does work - works better than turning slauncher off as it actualy gives you MORE memory than you would normally have.
