Im trying to use the master reset option under the control pannel, and it asks for a device unlock code - I dont have one, and 1111 dont work :S

anyone know if theres a universal one, or one for uk orange ?

please!

the device lock is your phones security code and not the 1111 code you were trying because i think thatis uk oranges pin code when default, my device lock code is 5 digits long but i cant remember thedefault, try 12345.

Ghostdog - you were right...took me a while to get it off orange tho >😞

how on earth did u no that if u dont own one!

thanks for the info!
how come 128mb duo aint availible in UK - :'(
It is.
Try 7DayShop.com.

I will end up buying one online- but my point is all my retailers in town say that they only make 64mb! even the sony center!

I suspect that there is "limited demand"; consumer electronics & accessories are pretty well always cheaper online, and safe to buy that way because you already know exactly what you are buying (unlike, for example, shoes).

Although you might be able to find a 128MB Duo in Tottenham Court Rd, it would probably cost you about 10-15 more than online, plus you actually have to go to the shop. Easier to have postie drop it through the letterbox following morning 😊

Only downside of online that I can see is that it requires you to have a credit/debit card. Not good if you are a) young or b) a conspiracy theorist!
