.exe files on 3650??

is there a program that makes you able to instal .exe files on your 3650 please let me know
thanks

Symbian 6.1/Series 60 .exe files will work fine (they're server programs without any user interface) & install just like other Symbian/Series 60 programs (from a .sis file, or by putting them in the file system manually).

.exe files for other operating systems (like Microsoft Windows, MS-DOS, OS/2, or others) will not work.

What .exe files (for what operating system) did you have in mind?

i have some old games that are not to big and can run on 3650 if n3650 can read .exe files but i can't

lars, did you understand N/A's post? The file size does not matter, how do you know that the executable is a Symbian exe and not Windows or DOS executable?Have you seen it working?

Right. An .exe file indicates that on some operating systems it is an executable file of sorts (= a [computer] program in effect).

Saying that it is an .exe file does not, however, specify what operating system is meant.

And software written for one specific operating system will have been translated/compiled from a programming language into so called machine code (with hardware-specific instructions and calls to operating system specific features/functions).

Such a piece of software written for one operating system/platform will not work on another as-is. (There are, so called, emulators available that allow one to run software written for one platform on another, though. Such exist for Symbian and Series 60, too; Commodore 64, Nintendo GameBoy and who knows what else.)

So, lars, you must tell us what platform/operating system your .exe files are for (come from), because if you don't say, we can't help you (as mind reading isn't yet an exact art, and probably also slightly more difficult when done through a web browser connection 😉 ).

Who's/what's "dana", by the way, if it/he/she is the best?

the .exe files i mean are form my pc that is running on windows so it is a windows file. dana is the best dj there is take a search on kazaa and see. her music is the best there is!!

OK. That means that the answer is: No, you cannot run your Microsoft Windows operating system based programs/applications on your Symbian operating system based phone.

P.S. I thought that a DJ is someone that plays somebody else's music recordings in the radio or a club. Otherwise [s]he would be called a composer, singer, and/or play an instrument, instead of being called DJ.
no in holland those people are called dj's and dana is the best!!
LoL!I Wonder what dj means in island?
