Program coming to foreground on flip open

Is it at all possible that when I open the flip that my previously used program will come to the foreground e.g. QuickTimer?
Normally to get to it, I have to scroll down the applications.

i don't use the flip, but i don't think you can, the flip will always take you bacdk to the flips closed screen, and by default when you open the flip it will take you back to the application list however there are some programmes which will override this feature and take you to their main page, these two programmes are handy day and tracker but i don't think you'll be able to get it back to that one, the programme will remian running in the background however untill you select it and close it manually or with a programme

not true .. with Ogg Player, messages menu, jotter, etc when you are using them in flip closed mode then open the flip they will show up ..

oh, i knew that, i thought he meant that he'd use a program, like quicktimer, then close the flip, then open the flip again to go back to quicktimer automatically and not return to the default set menu app list

Yep - that is what I meant - going back to QuikTimer once open!

I believe both Tracker and Handy Day use a text file to store the application to be launched on flip open (i.e themselves). I wouldn't have thought it would require a huge amount of work to write a small c++ program to run in the background and, whenever the flip is closed, write the currently active application to that file.

That way, next time the flip is opened, you get the last application back and, assuming the application hasn't been closed in the meantime, you'd get it back in it's previous state.

Not that I'm volunteering to write such an app!

But if it's something you want, it might be worth dropping a quick e-mail to the developers of Tracker and/or Handy Day requesting it. They both seem to receive new feature suggestions pretty well.
