Alright, Ive just upgraded from a 7650 and so far Im very happy, excepot the manual doesn't seem to be as comprehensive as Nokia ones. Just got a couple of questions for now, Im sure I'll think of more in a day or two 😉

1. In messaging, can you make new folders? Like on my 7650 I had all my messages saved into personal folders, but on here it just seems to be the standard inbox, outbox, drafts, sent

2. O2 GPRS settings? Copied them from my old phone the best I could but there seem to be more settings on this and I cant get it working.

3. Handwriting recognition - S's sometimes come out as F's, and R's sometimes dont come out at all, I have to write it about 3 times. Anyone have any problems like this?

Cheers

No, unfortunately not by default, but there's a 3'rd party app that will let you do this, check out S&W SMS Folder Manager.

2: go 2 sonyercsson site u will be able 2 send the correct setting from there 2 ur mobil

3: practice practice pratice i used 2 hate it but lately im startin 2 use it more and more and getting better at it each time

😉

Cool, cheers 😊

Oh, and about number 2. At work today, I checked my phone on my break and I had 3 configuration messages! WAP, GPRS and MMS. Sowted

Another couple.

My battery died after about 8 hours today (was fully charged this morning), and for 6 of those it was in my locker at work, unused.

Can you make WAV tones play looped?

the manual mentions (i think) that it might take a couple of charges for the battery to reach its maximum potential .. or .. you could have a faulty battery 😮 wait a few days and see

Or u could have some apps running in the background wich suck ur bat dry get tracker or sman or filemanger to close unused apps

f's are well easy, start at the top and draw down and you don't need to draw the cross line (I've started writing like this in real life, argh!).

As for the letter "r" I know exactly what you mean.... it's doing something like a tab but often by drawing it just once the letter count will jump from say 75 to 190.... I really don't know what that's inserting but its highly annoying.... anyone any ideas what character/function it's inserting?

You may want to try writing capital 'R' instead. It will never go wrong, at least for me.

Yeah, I know F's are easy. But like I said, I have trouble with S's, because the phone interprates my stroke as an F.
