Do you feel pressured to breed?

I mean I'm not married at the age of 27 and marriage seems getting far and far away everyday for me as an option but everybody around me from my parents to the milkman is wondering when I'm gonna settle down.

Are you in a similar situation? Tell us about it. I'm sure all of us folks @ AAS would definitely wanna know.

pressured? never felt that. I met Ewan in 1995 when I was 19, moved in with him three weeks after our first date, moved to London with him in 2000, married him in 2001 and had his daughter in 2002.

I'm 27 too, and I do understand the pressure though - all our friends are getting married now, and the ones that aren't in relationships are finding it a bit hard.

Hey fella! Chin up! I'm 29 and in that same boat. People think I'm weird or something because I'm single. heck, I'm weird, but not because I'm single..... Just very fussy.

I'd rather be single than end up screwing up two lives by marrying the wrong person.

As it is, though it can be difficult and <ahem!> lonely (why does that word sound so lame yet contain so much substance?), I think of all the stuff I can do without having to consider someone else (and you must be always mindful of what the 'significant other' wants when in a relationship), I'm often finding myelf grateful for the simple friendships I have and that I'm not tied down.

Often I've gone out with a bunch of mates and there are always some who can't come because their wives or husbands don't want to go.

Doesn't mean I think it's great being in this situation, but I will alays look for the good points until things change.

PS. Slightly off topic, Mosquito - what do you think of this software? Does it affect you? 😉
