Impressive stuff for the Nokia 7650 from the Assembly 2002

Hi all,

I don't know if you have heard of this Assembly demo scene and competition event. This year there was a new mobile device compo which Nokia was sponsoring and a Forum Nokia 24h compo too.

Here are some results:

Forum Nokia 24h: 7650 (Java Midp and native Symbian OS stuff):

do i nee to install these on the phone i some errors while trying to download stuff.

Yes, these seem to be meant for the phone. JAR/JAD files are Java files and SIS files are Symbian files.

I've managed to get one of the demos to run on my 9210!

Screenshots below, but it runs a little slow (9210 doesn't really like MIDLETS yet), and no sound - but a nice bit of eye candy nonetheless!

I can take screenshots with my 7650 as soon as I get it back from maintenance. 😊

I was at Assembly 2002 and was blown away by the demos on the Nokia phone! 24 hours later I had bought the phone ;o) I'd recommend everybody with a Nokia 7650 try them. Give it another 6 months and there will be stuff better than this being done!!!!
