Hey Forumers,
I have started a collection of good quality movies for the P800. Each file averages about 75mb so If you don't have a 128mb stick then this is not for you. I got the idea after I got a couple invitations from members that were willing share their files with me and explore the quality of their encoded movies. I will have these movies on an HTML site rather then a FTP server for ease of download. The contents will include a mix bag of things and hopefully some members here would contribute. I have about 1,480 GIGs of hard drive space so the amount of files I can add to this database are almost endless. If interested please PM me for further details.
75mb each movie...???? full movie for 2hrs...???
aren't your batt will get drained first before you get to finish the movie....???
I'd like to download movies onto my p800. I've clicked on PM, typed a request for info & clicked submit - but can't get it out of my outbox into sent. What am I doing wrong ?

I got your PM... Check your box for my reply..
As far as the movie length the intent is to watch a movie to pass time. If one has to resort to using their cell phones to dedicate to movie watching then I would suggest on investing in a television set. 😃 However, there have been plenty of times that I would pull out my phone while in a Subway and watch a movie. I've had no serious issues with battery life when watching a feature length movie (as long as it's fully charged). Sometimes I'd resume the movie at a later time. I have (12) 128mb duo sticks each with one feature length movie + mp3s and some two short movies. It's an alternative to reading a book on a train/air plane, one rarely completes a book in one day.
I must get a PM request from each interested member. I am not going to solicit members personally and inquire about their interest in this. At any rate, I have begun replying to PMs.
