Great news for Symbian
Only a shame UIQ (the P800) has such a little share in it. Most of the sellings are made by Nokia, with there Series 60 (and the OS on the 92x0) :-?
Really. One and only one phone in the world with a different OS from the rest placed sky high in the pricing chart isn't going to win many fans soon.
That's why UIQ seriously needs to expand its brand base. Nokia's entry into UIQ could do wonders for UIQ, also I seriously doubt Nokia would ever touch UIQ. UIQ also needs more than faceless supporters like Benq and useless sleeping giants like Motorola (Paragon2? Did someone say P800 was really really late in coming?).
And Symbian also really really needs to check its incessant branching into many different interfaces at any whim and fancy. Developer support is going to suffer.
