I have looked thru these forums, but they havent really helped me find the answers to these questions....
Whats the biggest memory card you can get for this phone? How much is it and where should I purhcase from? (I am in UK)
Is there actually a prelacement to the P800 coming soon? P810/900? is it worth waiting for?
How much memory does the phone actually come with?? I thought it was 12MB someone in the carphone warehouse told me 64?!

first of all Welcome to AAS :P about the memory stick 128mb is the biggest. im not sure about the prize coz im not from UK. and P810/900 i think it's still a rumuor. internal memory is 12mb.
I'd hardly call the P810/P900 a rumour. It exists. People have seen it/used it/tested it. It will be out early next year. For a fact.
Sony Ericsson will probably unveil it sometime in September
Biggest memory card is indeed 128MB at the moment, but with 256MB and 512MB Memory Stick Duo Pros coming soon, a firmware upgrade may enable them to work. It'd be silly if they didn't. (Theres not exactly a lot of memory stick duo devices around at the moment).

SonyEricsson p810/p900 is a rumour,it doesn't even have a name yet as you can see and SE hasn't officialy confirmed its existance.

I highly doubt that Memory Stick Duo Pros will work with the p800,since regular Memory Stick Pros don't.

OK??? That really makes no sense whatsoever. Why would regular memory stick pros work with the P800???? They are too BIG!
When memory stick pros intially became available, software updates for some devices were issued to allow Memory Stick devices (readers and digital cameras) to read/write on the new Pro format. It is therefore feasible that a software update could provide the P800 to read the Duo Pro format. It is also likely that the P810, will also ship with Duo Pro functionality.
Oh yeah, in answer to the first poster's last question, the P800 has 12MB of internal memory and ships with a 16MB Memory Stick Duo, so 28MB.

128Mb is the largest available at the moment. The price for them on Ebay (www.ebay.co.uk) is about �70 new plus about �5 p+p to deliver uk.
I could have bought a 128mb memory card for �50 at a computer fair the other day but did not bother as I already have 2.
Now I wish i had!!
