Help! My no. 4 key is so unresponsive its making texting a nightmare as I have to forcefully press down the button to get it to work.
Any advice?
Sticky buttons
that's happened to me too. Oddly enough, n� 4 went VERY sticky, now it's only occasionally sticky, but n� 9 is pretty bad now too.
My phone went back to a national repair centre with another problem, I mentioned the sticky n� 4 and it came back with a report saying the keyboard was fine...
It seems others in this forum have had the same problem. May be just poor design, although it also appears it happens after being opened up (to upgrade the firmware). If it's really bad, maybe a NSC could clean up inside while you wait.

hehe, thats strange.. the nr 4 key doesnt work properly with me too..
strange that its always the same key...
went to a nsc too, they saied they didnt find anything wrong.. so its still the same 😞
I've had various sticky keys, 4, 1, 0, and it's 3 on my current handset. It seems to be intermittant - the handset either arrives with a sticky key that gets better over time, or one will suddenly develop, last a while and then get better.
I've found that if you just keep using it, it does unstick. Irritating though!
i feel much better knowing its not just me. not sure whether i should send it off to get fixed though. will keep using it in the hope it unsticks.
