Was using a Nk7650 and the settings show different info to put in compared to the P800. Didn't find anything after searching on the forum.
Is there a link to a site that has the settings for ClaraNet and Freeserve so I can get email on the P800?

UK - Email settings for Clara.Net and Freeserve
I'm with Clara.net also and have no problems getting my email like with my old 7650 but receiving it on my p800's not working even with smtp authentication.
The incoming server's pop.clara.net and the outgoing is relay.clara.net but i don't think SPA's supported.
Hope this helps...and if anyone knows why i can't send through Clara PLEASE help me!
I use exactly the same settings for claranet as i did on my 7650 and have had no problems, i use mail.clara.net for both the incoming and outgoing mail servers.

On P800 in Internet Accounts | Edit | Advanced there are settings like:
Type IPv4, IPv6, IPv4 compatible, IPv4 mapped.
Never heard of those terms before. 7650 didn't have that so don't know what to tick/not to tick.
Also, I am eanting to use an 020 number and not 0845 number so don't get charged for dialling in, but rather comes out of my incl. minutes.
Is it possible to use Orange GPRS Wap to get mail as I have 3 months free trial on OpenAccess?
Ignore any settings in the advanced options and leave them as default. Get IP address and Get DNS should be selected as Automatic. Thats how I have mine setup and yes you can use it with an 020 number thats what I use. WAP GPRS can be used to check Clara email.
