Selecting Yes/No or OK/Cancel buttons with jog-dial

Just come across something and hope others may know an answer .
When some dialogs come up, there is often a choice to make Yes|No or OK|Cancel.
How do you select either one with the jog-dial? Or is it only possible by touching the screen?

I think it depends on the controls in the dialogue.
Once you get inside a text box, the jog dial scrolls around inside it, but if you can get the focus onto a button, then the jog dial up/down will move between buttons. Pushing the dial in presses the current button, or the "return" button by default.

From observation, in Flip Open mode, pushing/pulling the jog dial always switches applications.
