Any comments ?
LOL, you beat me to it, was just going to post this!!
44,000 more units than palm shipped ![]()
So where are all these users and why haven't they registered in here ![]()
they are probably al waiting in some 'club nokia service point' to get it upgraded
Yes, I agree... They must be still waiting somewhere... Lost In Space !!!
I still believe that Nokia products are great, but the customer services & support are not as good as they seem to be. I believe that one should no the pros & the cons when one purchases a product. And last but not least, Nokia should actually train their staff on the new products. I am starting to be fed up calling them and not getting specific answers...
Hopefully there are some very good web pages offering better solutions and answers.
Regards.
I'll probably be posting some glorified news analysis of this later, but it does make you wonder.. Since the 9210 didn''t reall get going to August in mnay European countries and its also available is Asia I reckon there could be about 500,000 units around bby Xmas at least.. Thats actually quite a large number. The 9210 may start to look attractive to develop for.
Rafe
500k seems a bit high but we'll see.
IMHO the turning point will be the 9290 (the US version). If it sells well THEN thing will get moving.
On the other hand, I am wondering about what is going on with the other handset companies... ER6 is here from quite some time and Nokia seems pretty much alone (the Ericson R380 is an ER5 device).
Sales results are very good. This will force the developers. There will be very lot and good application (I hope)
But wait for Americans response. Becouse MS is quite dominant in US market. It will be so hard to gain such a market share in US. If Nokia can win the the war over the PocketPC in US everything will be very good for us as a N9210 users and N9210 site owners/admins such a Rafe ![]()
Cheers.

(I am gonna register)
IMHO Nokia has already lost the war with MS... I only hope that they can manage to sell enough to maintain a niche market share (kind of a Mac vs Wintel situation).
