Hi ppl,sory but I'm invading your section,I am always in the 9210 section. Anyway,I saw the p 800 in a store and read all the functionalities it has.Wow, it's just amazinmg! I was thinking of selling my 9210i and getting a p800 because I am a bit tired of getting around with a brick size phone! I wanted to know if yoiu ppl could give me an opinion. Should I buy it or not? I have the 9210 since august 2001.

I've used the 9210i for 8 months, the P800 is much better!
Faster CPU, GPRS, Bluetooth, camera, more RAM, USB, stereo MP3 player, and the most important thing, it is not a brick 😃

But anyway, I love it and it's great! Although if editting office-files (word and excel) is really important to you, you better stick with the N9210...

Apart from office does it cover the other functions of the 9210i? Can I store in it word files or exel files? Can the flip be taken away?

yes the flip can be remove and you can store word and exel files.

E-mail,it can,but i'm not sure about fax,i don't think it can.
E-mail works fine, fax is impossible. About the word and excel files, you can only watch them, not edit them (although there are some simple, beta, apps which can do this, but still not perfect).

i've had the nokia 9210i in 2 diff ocassions, and the same thing applies to p800. but honestly, i can tell you that the p800 is much better.
it feels faster, and for watching videos, it rocks!

I moved to SE P800 from N3650 and I can't call 3650 for smartphone anymore. 😉
P800 is way ahead. I've used 9210i too and it's nice but it's brick, so that's not a really my phone...
Godfather: i've been a fan of the communicator series. i tried the 9110, 9110i, 9210 and the 9210i communicators. none of them is comparable to my p800 now with is sleek design and features i cannot resist! (SE should pay me with this ad! haha)
in other words buy the p800!!! 😃
