Hi,could anyone please help me-i am wanting to remove the pre loaded shortcuts from the favorites folder. When i click the 'c' button on them it says unable to remove. They are the ones linked to t-mobile but as i am now on another network i would like to remove them. I have Fexplorer on my phone but not been brave enough to just dive in there without some help (",) thanx. X

Does this also happen when you press OPTIONS and select DELETE?

Those shortcuts are on the Z: drive,so there is no way to remove them, unless you flash your phone with original Nokia firmware.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

Thanks Ghost Dog,if i get a software upgrade is that the same as flash?

Note though, most NSCs will only flash your phone with the operator software, so the links will remain. I know this is true with Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone Live branded phones in the UK.

My guess is that it won't work, becayse like i said, its a firmware package customized by T-Mobile,so the branding is on Z: drive and can't be removed.

Thanks j2k and mekeni,i think ghostdog is right though,i will need 2 get flash to remove them.
