A few days ago I sent a SMS to one of my friends, now the little sending message icon in the upper left corner (kinda looks like a horizontal [ with an arrow comming out of it) will NOT go away! I've tried everything I can think of, turning off the phone, re-booting with FExplorer, sending more SMS's, taking out the battery, but the icon WILL NOT go away! It's starting to drive me crazy... Anyone have any ideas?

I have not heard of this before.. So this is just a suggestion.
What about backing your phone up. Doing a hard reset and afterwards restore your data.
Maybe that would do the trick.
Mmm try: Menu ---> Messaging ---> OutBox and check there isn't any sms failed to send... ( just delete it )
If any sms has failed the icon with the arrow will still appear 😉

it happened to me.. i did a hard reset and then it was gone..
My first thought was exactly what aeron said.. It might be that it wasn't sent..
have you looked in the outbox?
I can't believe I could be so STUPID :roll: ! I thought I had checked the outbox, but just in case I opened up the outbox and there it was. For some reason it said 'Deferred' under the message. I have no idea what that means... Either way, thanks a lot for the help, I never thought such a little icon could drive me so insane!!!
