Hi.
I tried the handy day both 3.5 and 4.0. Both versions create problem for my bluetooth. It is make the connection with my HBH30 inconsistent.
Anybody else has this problem? I am using firmware R2D. Do you think upgrading to R2F will be better? I love the functionality of handy day to be excellent, especially version 4.

That's weird. Never heard or experienced such a problem... Don't know if upgrading will help. I'm on R2D myself. How can you be sure that Handy Day causes it?
I installed the upgrade this morning but now find I'm getting screen corruption when scrolling forward or backwards a day at a time - this happens when using the jog dial or clicking the down arrow. The corruption takes the form of the letters appearing on top of each other.
In addition on the main page it shows (for example) today as being
September 2003 week 3|
(the | symbol is the best I can do to show that it's showing only part of the next character - it should be week 36.
This is all a bit annoying as I still think HandyDay is the best program for the P800 - Can we have a fix please?
Mark
As a follow-on from my last post I've discovered that you don't get the screen corruption if you use the default wallpaper (not tried any other wallpaper) - I was getting the screen corrruption when using no wallpaper

Thanks for your reply.
The problem started when I installed the handy day. When phone rings, it won't detect my handsfree. And other problems as well.
After I remove it, I have no more problem.
During that period, I haven't install any other software.
I guess that it is the culprit. Perhaps I shd upgrade to R2f.

I get this screen corruption too. Makes the app totally useless. Anyone know if handango are going to fix this. This should not have been released with this serious flaw.
I don't want to use a wallpaper as the screen is much easier to read without it.
Thanks
I've been using it with my own wallpaper (a plain Win95-green jpg) and it works just fine. Plus, the new outlined fonts are far easier to read, especially with the back-light off.
Though I did notice that my battery drained VERY quickly in the last couple of days. Normally I get 3 1/2 to 4 days. Got a day and a half out of it. Not sure it had anything to do with the new Handy Day, but I'm going to keep an eye on it.
Well, they do supply a pretty good selection of wallpapers, and I find the text is really easy to read with all of them.
If you want a blank background, you could presumably upload a tiny blank gif and sent it to that and it seems likely that would eliminate the glitch.
Can't see any point getting quite so wound up about it though - knowing them (and it's hardly handango that are responsible for it!) they'll have fixed it pretty quickly. And you can always stick with 3.5 if you're that unhappy anyway.
As for the battery issue, my phone ran out of battery REALLY quickly yesterday, to the point where it was completely dead. I'd not had that happen before. I didn't put it down to Handy Day at the time, but you never know...
yes, my apologies for this to be directed at handango, it was a complete slip, I did mean the developers and should have been clear in my post. Sorry.
I'm just disapointed. I use handy day extensively and pretty much rely on it. I appreciate that the developers continue to support this application but I do think it should be tested extensively before release. Unless of course the developers are following the footsteps of you know who and think getting the customers to test it after purchase is the way to conduct themselves.
I'm sure your right and a fix will be issued soon. I've tried the blank image idea, it makes all the fonts outlines and I don't find that nice at all, I just want to read it in plain clear fonts as you see with no wallpaper.
