Wap Connection

I am getting quite Annoyed with this. :x :x

I am trying to get my WAP working. I have a 7650 and am using my Orange SIM with it, WAP works fine with this SIM and my old 6210e.

I go to services and select the club nokia WAP site, it tells me i haven't
got a valid access point. If i then go Option > Setting > Defaul Access
Point (which Currently Says "None"😉 it asks me if i would like to define
one. I say Yes, Select a GSM Data Connection and enter all of the setting
that are on my 6210e.

Now i must be doing something wrong, because when i exit (either through
Options > exit, or Back) it doesn't make the access point the default. But
the Access Point is saved in the connections box. :-? :-?

If i add the access point from tools > settings > connections. Then it
doesn't let me select any of them as the default for WAP. If I try to add
an email mailbox, then it lets me select one of the pre defined connections.

many thanks in advance

are you pay as u go or contract as nokia told me this makes a difference as ive got pay as you go and cannot access all all the services as you would get with contract and therefore cant set my phone up

I have the same problem,

I am orange contract, but gone from a T68 to a 7650 sim free

Did have wap and GPRS on my T68

Please help 😊

TIA

Just quickly as I am popping off to work. I have had the same problem but solved it last night. The trick is in you new access point setting entering a correct gateway number and then it will allow you to enter a default homepage. Once this is done is should appear as a workable bookmark in your wap browser. Any probs post a reply and I will answer when I get home.
