Symbian Belle Video Player Find Troubles in Handling Mordern Encoding Features - Solution for the H.264 Re-Frames Problem
The native video player in Symbian Belle was much praised for its ability to play all kinds of video formats thrown at it, espeacially the most recent or last of the devices like Nokia 701 and 808. The only complaint was that it was very much minimal in options and settings, with only buttons like Play/Pause, Fast Forward/Backward and a Digital Dolby effect switcher. Barring that, the video player worked like a dream. But now when more than a year has passed after the launch of Nokia 808, the player is starting to find troubles in handling videos encoded with video compression standards that use the most mordern features that can create HD videos with reduced bit rates. Even the 808 gifted with the largest number of supported codecs and a secondary flv player out of the box, is included in this troublesome category.
