Has anyone else noticed this - I was comparing my 7650 with a friends and noticed a huge difference in the overall brightness of the screens. Both had the same setting for the contrast but on my mates phone his white background was much 'whiter' and brighter. Is this a result of different suppliers or is there a hidden setting somewhere which lets you adjust the factory brightness setting of the screen.
Different screens
maybe it's because of the light sensor..
nope...
the difference is that:
those made in europe have yellowish white lights
while those made in asia have really white lights, like flourescent bulbs

mine is not yellowish and it's bought in europe
Am I the only one to have noticed that the 7650 makes for quite a respectable torch (if only the light wouldn't keep going off every 15 seconds)?
It has a beam and everything - well cool!
yeah, it lights up the whole room, great night-light.
Well, thanks to AIKON, I have just found an application called Torch. It shows a white screen and keeps the light on indefinately.
The cool thing about this is that I can run it in the background and if I'm following driving instructions (for example), and the phone is plugged into the ciggie lighter, I won't have to keep pressing a button to re-activate the light.
Nice one!
