Are there any apps which let u use your phone as a universal remote control for say your DVD Player, TV, VCR, Cable etc? I think this would be really handy as im constantly losing my remotes and my phone is in my pocket 24/7.
If it hasnt been done, what do people think? It has IR, which is what normal remotes use and it has a keypad for channels, and D-Pad, for volume + - and Channel <>. Would be very handy, dyou think?

about 5 meters... depends on the battery conditions... on the tv... I've noticed my girlfriend's 3650 has the IR plastic a bit more "rugged" than mine... Mine is really "polished"... I don't know if it makes a difference, but it should...
