Bluetooth Pairing

Dear Friends

I tried to pair my P800 with a T68i.Both the phones detected each other but they asked for a passkey. What is the default passkey..What is the difference between pairing and exchanging data without pairing.

The pass key doesn't matter. You just have to enter the same for both. So, for example, if you use the P800 to detect the T68i, first enter 0000 on the P800, the T68i will then ask for a passcode so you just enter 0000 again.

Don't know what the difference is. I've always paired them. I know that, when paired, you can set them to "Always receive without checking".

paired: its already on your device. no need to search when you need to exchange data

if not paired; the phone always searches for a bluettoth enabled device before it transfers or recieve data.
