Any P800 and orange.net email users??? — Sony Ericsson P800, P900 and P910

Is this just me or do other people have similar problems.

I have an @orange.net email account which I use online and more often on my P800. I am plagued with junk mail which I have blocked using orange.net's online blocker. This works fine when you collect your email thru a browser but never works when collected using POP3 on my P800.

Do any other users access their email this way using the P800 and GPRS? And how does theirs work? I've emailed Orange about it but they don't seem too bothered that my GPRS calls are 10 times what they should be if the junk email was blocked.
If you are having similar probs maybe you could email orange too, if a few people bring this up they may listen.

I use orange.net on my P800 but only very infrequently and don't have any junk mail problems so I'm afraid I can't really help 😮

I would have thought that the junk mail was filtered before it hit the server though (and wouldn't therefore be downloaded by Pop3) But this is not the case at Orange.net?

Good luck with Orange though- been there too many times :roll:
