is it possible to use bluetooth to teach phone to open doors

As the psiloc software (irremote) can act as a TV remote, can we make our phone to act as a door opener (automatic doors, of course 😃 ) via bluetooth?
Just a thought.
Please forgive me if i'm saying nonsense.

Sure, if you can get a lock & door opening mechanism that works with Bluetooth.

If the lock/mechanism doesn't have a Bluetooth radio hardware, then there is no magic you can do in the phone that'd make it happen. If there is an electronic or electromechanical interface in the lock/door, then one could also create a separate Bluetooth hardware device that could be used to make the lock/door mechanism operate.

In the irRemote case both devices (phone & TV) have infrared hardware, so the question is only to make the phone send the correct infrared signals to the TV.
