phone down - mem shortage

Hi,

I've tried to install Opera browser by installing trough bluetooth, and suddenly my pc said 'Not enough space at phone' , and my phone said 'please make some space'. Nou my problem is that the phone won't run the Filemanager (eFile), neither will it run the built in Installmanager because of space shortage 😞 . I've tried epocwares PC browser, so I could browse my phone over BT, and delete the installfile, but that failed, Pcbrowser doesn't show anything else than C: (no dirs).

Does anybody know how to fix this, and where temporary installs (.sis-es) are stored??

Thanks in advance...

I've managed to get it fixed 😃 . It became clear that the solution was as easy as it should be: just turn the phone off and on. Why I didn't try that before? I held the off button, but the phone did not completely responded. (and I had not thought very much of it later, I don't turn this great device off a lot 😊 ).

After turning on I only say a battery indicator, and after turning off and on again everything worked Ok.

It seems that symbian deletes temporary files at starting great OS! (although I'm not sure now howto get Opera installed, I should get even more space than 1 Mb free...)

in the end, I did not install Opera because it's enormous. I use reqwireless which is only 54kb, others use Doris, which I think is pushing 200kb.

I would try either of these and buy the one you like best

yeah, no point in cramming opera in to 7650 😃
Try these:
NetFront v3.0 browser

Doris

webviwer
