Will Nokia LEave us behind again?

When the 6110 came out, it didn't work too well with Windows 98's new way of doing IR, then when the 6210 came out, it was ok with NT4, but not with Windows 2K, now none of these have been fixed or addressed by Nokia.

Now my 9210, as much as I love it, still does't quite work with Office XP, or Windows XP, I have this horrible thought that Nokia's answer will be to upgrade to the 9310, anyone else feel Nokia is going to leave us in the lurch this way? Compare this to the like of Palm, where I can get a 5 year old palm working and Synching with Windows XP, and Office XP...

😞

Yes I think you're right. 9210 uses PLP (Psion) protocls to link. Next gen devices (7650 etall) are using PPP.

Now do you concentrate on a dead protocl or update to a newer one...
