would it be safe to delete files located in Root Directorey C:\system\install? It seems they are the installer copied to your cell phone.

Maveric

Take a closer look at the file sizes. They are not the installation files.

I am not quite sure what they do, but it seems to me, it would be the uninstallation file of the programs.

meaning. Should you decide to remove the app, I would think the information needed to remove the app, would be those sis files.

Again. this is just me thinking logical. Have no proof of it 😉

Does anybody here have another idea about the application in the root directory if the are safe to delete?

"C:\" would be the root directory of the C-drive. "C:\system\install" is a second level subdirectory.

The .SIS files there are not the original installation packages (despite the name), but files that contain data on what files were put & where.

I'm not sure, but if you remove them, then uninstalling the application(s) in question may not be possible (unless you reinstall them first).

Try and let us know.

no, you can still uninstall, but you can't do it off the tools>app manager screen, you have to do it manually using fexplorer or the like. So i suppose in a way you can't uninstall but you can get rid of the file after deleting the installer file.

Can anyone tell me why my hyperlink isn't working and why the picture doesn't show. I know there was a similar problem with avatars.

And run the risk of deleting something by accident, or not deleting all the files relating to the app.

Personally, I think it's best to leave the files alone as they are only small.
