Customise your P800

Hi forum,

I'm on the search for making my P800 more personal.
I've done ringtones etc.

I done the start-up and shutdown things.

I also figured out the custom browser start page.
If you didnt know here's how:
Use flie manager and goto
C:\system\data\browser\startpage\
You may have a start.html page and a graphic.
All you have to do to customise the startup page is make your own page, drop it in the startpage folder and make sure its called start.html
Large images take a while to load though.

Here's my custom start page:
http://www.payback.nildram.co.uk/P800/startpage/start.html
If you want to download this example take these two files from this dir
http://www.payback.nildram.co.uk/P800/startpage/
TIP: I created a sub folder in the startpage dir and called it images, I then dropped a few nice jpg and gifs in there.
If I get bored of the startup image I simply copy one of the other images into the startpage dir and name it image.gif. Then the browser picks that one up next time!

The only thing thats upset me is the blue bar running along the top.
Anyone know where the image is, or how I can customise it?

I think I'll make some themes for you mucky lot to use.
If I take the time that is 😊

Hope this helps though,
Brenden

If your refering to the row with messages/apps/images on right at the top, then you can't change it, as it's kept on the ROM....unless you have a flash box.

There is a small application that came with the SDK, called Colour Changer, can't remember if it affected that bar or just the menu system.

Do a search on the forum and it'll be attached somewhere, it's only a small file

Got the mp4's here, so credit to the author etc.
