Can anyone tell me why when I download only the headers off my emails with my p800 it always counts and download the whole amount of kb of the mail, and when I decide to download the email it starts again to download the full amount of kb. It is very expensive as I pay 0.50 euro for 100kb.
I know this is not very clear. An exemple: I would never read an email with pictures with my p800,but I need to read mails from work wich are not bigger (most of the time) than 10kb. But sometimes there are bigger ones. I have set my phone on "don't download mails bigger then 15kb. But when there is a bigger one I can only read the header but when I look in the information I have always downloaded the whole amount off kb's of the full mail.

400 kb and more in downloading only header,
havn't faced any such problem b4, but I guess it's duo to your mobile settings, so when u set it to donload anything smaller than 15kb so it shouldn't download more.
try setting a new email account with the new settings, and remove the old one or change the preffered to the new one, it might help!!!
Have you switched your phone off and on again after changing the email settings? I found that you have to do this if you change the email download schedule.
I will try new emailsettings from another provider. I think this might help. I will notice you if it helped.

My problem is solved, thank you handyman and pseudomarine.
I have changed the settings to my other provider and now I have more than reasonable downloads and i will have reasonable telephonebills.
the problem was not my p800 but the provider.
