Hello 😊
Has anybody had this problem before: When you change the clock it updates on both the outside display and the inside display. The problem is that on the outside display it stays on the time you set, while the inside display keeps on going further. Really weird problem.
And hehe I have another problem also or it's more like I want to know how to kill processes in the 9210, like for instance killing the contacts.cdb thats running all the time in the 9210?
Thanks in advance!
Why would you want to kill Contacts?
I want to copy it directly from my 9210 to the computer but that doesn't work because it says it is in use or copy protected and I know it is in use in the background all the time. I also want to be able to do the excat opposite, copy the contacts.cdb into the systems/data directory and overwrite the old contacts.cdb.
Ive heard theres a way to kill the contacts process but I havent heard how.
Just press Shift+Ctrl+CHR+K to kill the active process you are in...
//Akn78

You can also use the switcher app (freeware) or task manager (shareware) to terminate programs either to free memory or for transfer purposes.
Wrt clock, what version of firmeware are you on? I had similar problems with my first 9210 - v3.18 - problem disappeared with v4.13.
Another way to get your Adressbook free is to create a new adressbook and copy every adress to that one. Then you just close it and return to the ordinary adress book, and copy the new one you made to your computer... SIMPLE as that !!! 😮
Yeah! Really annoying there isnt a 'Save all contacts to' setting on the Contacts app menu, like to CSV and TXT. I'm thinking BIG MISTAKE Symbian / Nokia! :evil:
