Best to ring Orange and ask them about what network they use other there, as GPRS isnt to common in America as far as i know. You will be able to make calls be checking email may be more difficult 😊

GPRS will not work on any network out there. I have just got back from California with a Vodafone sim and was with friends with Orange, T-Mobile and 02 sims and none of us could get GPRS connections.

In addition, we found it very difficult to attach WAP sessions as well, and it would have been very expensive.

It may be easier to use an internet cafe!!

As far as i am aware, T-Mobile is the main GPRS network over there, but all the networks are behind the rest of the world anyway.
