Can't Start up.

Hi.

My phone got a problem. My phoen does not start when i press the on/off button. Now i Wonder if there is any secret code that i could press or some other way to start my phone without pressing the on/off button...

Please, i need help. I got important stuff on my phone and since the retailer can't garantie that my info and contact will still be on my phone after a repair. I would realy like to do a backup but how?

Keep trying. The power button often seems to start misbehaving on this phone. Once you get it turned on, make a full backup with PC Suite, and then have it fixed.

try to push it very softly with a pen. so you can push it a little deeper.. worked with mine when i had the same problem.
i went to a nsc and got an new button. took 20 minutes for them to change it and i lost no data 😉

use a paper clip or pin from a pin badge or similar to leaver under the power button adn aim for the middle of the button - it goes in quite far and hold it down this should work.... did with mine then get it replace!

as mentioned above it could be a problem with the power button. so what i would suggest you do is open the case where you change sim card and have a close look to see how the whole thing actually works..

if you can gently press with a paper clip or some thing like that it should work..

also blow hard in that space because sometimes dust gets in and fills up.

hope that helps
😊

it's been a while since i was last in this forum. if you take off the sim card cover, you'll find that you can push the on and off button down a bit further than normal, i don't know if you've tried this or not yet but i guess it's worth a try before unfolding the paper clips

I went to my Telia Store and told them the problem and said that they didn't have do do a upgrade so all m info where on my phone when they had fixed it 😊
